This Benin eroro bell was worn by Benin warriors as emblems of prestige and high rank. Unique to the Benin Bells is their form of a truncated, four-sided pyramid. This Benin eroro bell, cast in bronze by the lost wax process, shows a stylized face of oba displayed in the center on the front with symbolic markings on the other three sides.
