Indefinite Pitch Percussion
Indefinite pitched percussion instruments are those instruments that are struck, hit or scraped that produce notes or sounds that do not have identifiable pitch. They are unable to play tunes or melodies, therefore are used for beats and rhythms. Common instruments may include various types of drums, cymbals, tambourines, gongs, maracas, claves, etc.
