This customized Rogue acoustic guitar, with pick guard signed by Chuck Berry (w/COA), has a gloss black finish with cream colored trim. The fretboard is made of a dark wood with 19 gold metal frets and six gold metal strings. The tuning pegs are mechanized with cream-colored grips, and there are five decorative inlaid stars in white acrylic on the fretboard. The pick guard is a marbled red and sits on the right side next to the stylized acoustic hole trim. Just under the tailpiece is a silver calligraphy decoration. Two additional decorative inlaid stars are next to the tailpiece.  Rogue guitars are manufactured by Sunbo, in South Korea.  It is the “house brand” for Musician’sFriend.com.    

Charles Edward Anderson Berry (Oct 1926-March 2017) from St. Louis, Missouri, was an American singer, guitarist, and songwriter who played a central role in the development of rock and roll. He’s often called the “Father of Rock ‘n’ Roll” and is credited with creating the genre’s vocabulary and language.  A few of the legendary Chuck Berry hits include, “Johnny B. Goode”, “Maybelline”, “Roll Over Beethoven”, “Memphis”, and “Rock and Roll Music”. 

An eight foot bronze ‘Chuck Berry Statue’ by sculpturer Harry Webb is located in St. Louis, in the Delmar Loop across the street from Joe Edward’s ‘Blueberry Hill’.
