Bamileke
The Bamileke are the largest ethnic group in Cameroon, inhibiting a grassland region in the country’s western and northwestern area. They are divided into several groups, each under the guidance of a chief or fon. The Bamileke are known for their beaded masquerades, especially the impressive elephant mask, as seen in this collection.
