Bells
Bells are typically made of metal: A) Brass is mainly an alloy of Zinc and copper; B) Bronze is mainly an alloy of tin and copper.
They are typically made in the shape of a deep inverted cup widening at the lip, that sounds a clear musical note when struck, typically by means of a clapper inside. Nevertheless, in China, bells with clappers inside are called ling, while clapperless bells are known as zhong. Temple bells usually assume the form of chimes in China.
