A two-tone copper with brass trim bugle and mouthpiece. The roots of the bugle can be traced back to the use of animal horns used for signaling. Today, bugles are used for calls or ceremonial situations, such as military signaling; at horse races; taps at funerals; and even in classical music. Because there are no keys or valves, the bugle is limited to playing a particular overtone series it is pitched in.
