A pair of Chinese bronze clapper bells (called ling) hung from cylindrical wooden handle. These decorative bells display a bird motif in relief with hanging wooden ringers/clappers inside each bell.
Bells with clappers inside are called ling, while clapperless bells are known as zhong. Temple bells usually assume the form of chimes in China.
