Arthur Sprinz, who trained under G. Eschenbach, worked in Berlin under his father, Franz Sprinz who died young ca. 1895. Then in 1899 Arthur bought the firm of Ernest Paulus in Berlin, in which his father had taken over earlier.
According to ‘The New Langwell Index’ the son Arthur:
In 1901 – built a trumpet in F for Kosleck;
In 1906/07 – took over the manufacture of screw-adjustable trumpet mouthpiece rims, which had been invented by Hohne;
In 1921, built for Dehmel his patent contrabass trombone in F;
In 1937, appointed deputy ‘Innungsmeister’ (guild master).
