Contemporary Wood Sculpture by Daniel Meyer “Fiddle” Violin 1998.  Meyer is an American artist from Chicago and the renowned School of the Art Institute of Chicago, plus the College of DuPage and the Naguib School of Sculpture.  Dan has emerged with a distinctive and recognizable style.  This sculpture is of carved wood pieces and parts made from natural assorted wood, acrylic & lacquered with a pop of purple design.  This style gives way to Meyer’s distinctive style and is etched into the piece with his signature, date and name.

Several universities, banks and major corporations are proud of their Meyer sculptures. The Palm Beach International Airport and McDonalds Corporation, for example, and Harley Davidson, Alabama Power & Light and the Everhart museum are but a few, plus the Absolut Vodka Collection is pleased to own original Dan Meyer pieces.
