This large Marine Band Echo Tremolo Concert Harp in original wooden case, is model #683 with 192 reeds and is in 4 keys. Each channel on tremolo harmonicas (mouth harps) has two reeds for each note, i.e., one pair for blown notes and another pair for drawn notes. Also, each pair is tuned slightly apart from one another to produce a tremolo sound.
The body of the instrument is made of mahogany stained wood plated with a silver metal. Floral stylized etchings are carved into the top and bottom plates of the instrument for decoration. It is a double-sided Echo harp.
