A handmade six-string acoustic guitar, model ESVL-1, from American Acoustech Guitars in Rochester, NY.  This guitar has 20 metal frets, six silver metal mechanized tuning pegs, and metal strings. Wood includes a spruce top with cherry neck, back, and sides, an ebony fretboard with mother-of-pearl inlay, and a tortoiseshell binding. This guitar was one of the pioneers of the bolt on neck for acoustic flattops

American Acoustech Guitars produced steel string dreadnought (large and broad body shaped)  guitars from the mid-90s until the early 2000s. The founders were Tom E. Lockwood, who worked over 10 years as Plant Manager at Guild Guitars, and Dave Stutzman, owner of the Rochester-based guitar shop, Stutzman’s Guitar Center. The American Acoustech dreadnought Guitar was featured on the cover of “Guitarmaker’ magazine, issue 29’, in 1995
