This is a 1985 Schecter Genesis Co. Illusion White Electric Guitar Serial # 9200 Model A 7046.

In 1976, David Schecter opened the Schecter Guitar Research, a repair shop in Van Nuys, California. The shop manufactured replacement parts and offered more than 400 guitar parts but did not offer any finished instruments. Then in 1979 he started offering fully assembled electric guitars that were custom shop models based on Fender designs.  By 1983, his shop could no longer meet demand and his company was purchased by a group of Texas investors, who moved the company to Dallas, Texas.  Schecter continued to introduce new guitars and basses, mostly based on the Fender designs.

In 1985 David Schecter, introduced a guitar line with a bolt-neck Genesis model. This electric guitar seen here is the cut-away model with a white body, rosewood fingerboard, maple body, and one humbucker.  The Genesis logo is on the body and there is a whammy bar.  The Schecter Genesis G6 Illusion was only offered for about a year.
