An Epiphone Sheraton II semi-hollow body electric guitar, made in South Korea. This Alpine white Epiphone Sheraton II is a 1986 model designed in collaboration with rock guitarist Emily Wolfe. It features a rosewood fingerboard with V-block triangle inlays on the finger board and 22 medium-jumbo frets, as well as a fancy vine on the headstock. The “Epiphone By Gibson” headstock inlay indicates it was made from 1986-1988.
The electronics include the Alnico Classic Humbucker pickups, 2 Volume 2 Tone controls, and a 3-way selector switch. This Sheraton’s gold hardware includes a tune-o-matic bridge with a stopbar tailpiece. There is also an elevated tortoise pickguard with the “E” emblem. In the peghead there are six Grover tuners with gold bell knobs.
Though the Sheraton and all its variations were introduced under the ownership of the Gibson Guitar Corporation, Epiphone is the exclusive manufacturer.
