Lebanon
Lebanon, officially known as the Lebanese Republic, is a country in Western Asia. It is bordered by Syria to the north and east and Israel to the south, while Cyprus lies just west of it across the Mediterranean Sea. Because Lebanon’s location is at the crossroads of the Mediterranean Basin and the Arabian hinterland, therefore, we will place the instruments in this region as part of the Middle East, a transcontinental region, with the major countries being Lebanon, Egypt, Oman, Kuwait, Iraq, Iran, Bahrain, and Cyprus.
The vast majority of the country’s population are Arabs, and while Arabic is the official language, the Lebanese Arabic is also used in daily activities alongside modern Arabic.
