Wind Instruments Proper
This aerophone classification includes instruments in which the vibrating air is confined within the instrument itself. Classifications include the following:
– Edge-blown flutes [Blow-hole flutes and Whistle (duct) flutes]
– Lip Vibrated
– Reedpipes
