Wisconsin is a state in the upper Midwestern United States, bordered by Minnesota to the west, Iowa to the south-west, Illinois to the south, Lake Michigan to the east, Michigan to the north-east, and Lake Superior to the north. Wisconsin is the 25th-largest state by total area and the 20th-most populous.
The state capital, Madison, is currently the second most populated and fastest growing city in the state. The state is one of the nation’s leading dairy producers and is known as “America’s Dairyland”; it is particularly famous for its cheese.
