Eswatini is a small landlocked kingdom in southern Africa, bordered by South Africa and Mozambique, with the official language being both Swazi and English. Officially it is the Kingdom of Eswantini, but formerly and still commonly known in English as Swaziland.
This contemporary Swazi drum is hand carved and colorfully painted with a goat skin drumhead attached by wooden pegs. It stands on three arching legs. Authentic drum, but a contemporary piece.
