This Tikar rasp is carved from a single piece of wood.  The resonator tube alludes to a female with a long slim anthropomorphic body (rectangular resonator) over bent knees. The head is stylized showing circular eyes looking upward, puffy cheeks, and the resonator body is incised with deep ridges encircling the body with an opening on one side.  This rasp possible was made for the art market.
